Brenda Anyango

Proud Kenyan, Clinical Psychologist, Primary Care Psychologist & Behavioural therapist (in training).

Brenda is a dedicated counsellor and holds a Masters in Clinical Psychology from the Free University of Brussels. Her journey is fueled by a passion for fostering well-being through an integrated holisctic approach.

As a fulltime independent psychologist with  a wealth of experience in psychodiagnostics, transcultural psychiatry and therapeutic counseling, she’s committed to breaking stigmas, providing diversity- and culturally competence care and guidance with compassion towards building mental and emotional well being.

As a Black clinician she is also passionate about advocating mental health awareness and creating a supportive community within the African Diaspora.

Beyond traditional talk therapy, Brenda incorporates dance & movement therapy to provide a unique and comprehensive approach to mental health.

Through SemaNami, Brenda strives to provide a safer, inclusive and supportive space fostering mental well-being and resilience in the lives of those she serves.

In her spare time, Brenda finds joy in spending time with loved ones, dancing, reading, volunteering, listening to music, and traveling.
