Group Guidance & Therapy
Join our inclusive group sessions where the power of collective healing through shared experiences, and somatic expression & movement come together to create a supportive community. Offering diverse topics, including Decolonazing Therapy & Implementing Social Justice in Therapy, Acceptance Commitment Therapy, Schema Therapy, and Somatic Experiencing & Healing Movements Therapy:
1. Somatic Experiencing & Healing Movements Therapy:
It can be difficult sometimes to express our selves verbally. That’s when you may consider non-verbal therapy like dancetherapy where movement is being integrated into the therapeutic process. During the sessions we get to experience through movement and in silence what our body wants to say to us and how it can help us in our daily lives. We will learn a self-caring, compassionate and creative attitude in which we can witness ourselves and others in a non-judgmental way and without expectations. You also get training in a specific way in letting go and surrendering to movement(s) and body sensations. In this way, your body awareness and body feeling is strengthened and this can help you connect with your body, express your emotions and have a positive effect on your self-worth.

2. Decolonazing Therapy & Implementing Social Justice in Therapy:
In a collaboration with colleagues Annelies and Dominique, the border between social inequality and mental health took shape in the new NIA- Circles. In the NIA-Circles, we look at causal and sustaining factors of common emotional complaints from an anti-oppressive decolonized lens.
3. Acceptance Commitment Therapy:
ACT is a scientifically based form of behavioral therapy. Within ACT it is assumed that you will inevitably encounter all kinds of obstacles in your life that prevent you from realizing your dreams. Think of unpleasant thoughts, difficult emotions and unpleasant body sensations. ACT provides all kinds of tools and techniques to deal with this. The purpose of this is to stop being so absorbed by it, so that more energy is left for the valuable things in your life.
4. Schema Therapy:
Schema therapy is a therapeutic approach that integrates elements from cognitive-behavioral, psychodynamic, and experiential therapies. It focuses on identifying and changing deep-seated, maladaptive patterns or "schemas" that developed during childhood. These schemas are enduring themes or beliefs about oneself and the world, often contributing to emotional and interpersonal difficulties.By fostering awareness, empathy, and skill development, schema therapy aims to break destructive cycles and promote healthier ways of thinking and relating to oneself and others.
